Lani Ford has been on the air on weekends at New York City's 95.5 WPLJ for 7 years now after stints in Texas and Ohio. 

Lani also appears on Good Day New York once in a while as the traffic authority. 

Otherwise, she can be seen rocking out in various New York and New Jersey clubs as the singer and bass player in her band STARK.  They just returned from a tour in the UK, marking the release of their second album.

Lani has also been an actress almost all of her life, starring in the horror film ZOMBIE CULT MASSACRE and appearing in over 100 plays from Shakespeare to children's theatre as well as small roles in commercials, movies and television.  She has her own self-penned one-woman show, The Restless Muse.  One day she'll have time to put it back on the stage.

In the meantime, she was married last July to Richard, a drummer of course, and they live on the Lower East Side (for now) with their chihuahua, Streak.
